Aspen's sixth birthday party.

Today was Aspen's sixth birthday party. It was a pink poodle party. I made poodle skirts for Aspen and Autumn to wear. They looked so cute in their skirts all day. Tamy hired a magician who also made balloon animals. Aspen was so brave she volunteered to put her arm in the guillotine for one of his tricks. She had no fear. It was a nice day but it was HOT! At least I had an excuse to wear the new summer dress I got in London.

Here's some pics from today.

Pictures are coming!

Ok, I have like four hundred and something pictures to go thru. I don't want to stick them all on one blog so I'm going to load them on here by place. I'll do one place per day.

Here is Genova. Tomorrow, Monaco.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today was my Dad's 58th Birthday. So when I got off of work this afternoon I took him to hit a bucket of balls at the golf course. It was fun, but Harley was supposed to be waiting in the truck and decided she would rather run around the driving range trying to get hit by oncoming golf balls. Luckily she was too fast for the balls to hit her. When my mom got off work later we went to dinner. That's about it for today. I guess I really am back to my boring old life. I need to join a club or something.

Here is an action shot of my dad today. I didn't think quick enough to get any of Harley.

Goodnight.

London Calling!!! July 10th

Ok so I do have internet access here. After a long morning and putting up with Carnival forgetting to order our transportation we made it to Gatwick airport at around 12:00. The hotel was just a few minutes away so we dropped off our stuff and had some lunch then went back to the airport and caught the train to London. In London we got on a double decker bus and took a tour around the city. It was about 7:00 pm when we finished the tour so we went shopping and had dinner. It was a really long day but fun. Now I'm really tired. It's just after 11:00 here and I am ready for bed.
Goodnight,
Amy

Viva la France! July 9th

France! Today we were in La Havre, France. Many people took shore excursions into Paris but it was a six hour bus ride and you only got four hours in the city and were stuck on the bus the whole time. So we decided to go to Historic Roune. It was beautiful and full of wonderful little shops that I expected to see at all the ports but have not. Roune even had its own Notre Dame Cathedral. I guess there are several in the area that have Notre Dame Cathedrals. It was fantastic. The best shore excursion I think we've been on. I only wish we had more free time in the city on our own, I also got to see the spot where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. When we got back to the ship we still had bout six hours in port so we walked into the port city (La Havre) and went sight seeing there. Guess what! La Havre also has a Notre Dame Cathedral. Good times! We also went to an art museum and walked around. We had a lot of fun today and enjoyed our free time off the ship. I tried to get Candace to rent a bike with me in La Havre but she was not in for it. It would have been so fun to ride around all day seeing the sights. Oh well maybe next time. After the shore time we had dinner and then went back to our rooms and packed our bags. We will be in Dover in just a few hours and we had to have our bags out in the hallway before midnight. We will finally be in London tomorrow! I am sooooooooooooo Excited! I'm not sure if I will have Internet access at our hotel in London. If I do I will keep blogging but if not this will be my last message until I get home. So just in case, Bye all, thanks for all your well wishes and i'll see you soon.
